Bottom Blowdown System
For single or multiple steam boiler installations, the timed BCS 700 smart bottom blowdown control system comprises the BC 700 bottom blowdown controller and the BCV 740 pneumatically actuated bottom blowdown valve.
The BCV 700 bottom blowdown valve has the quick opening action that bottom blowdown requires. That quick action creates the suction which carries the solids settled at the bottom out of the boiler.
If the blowdown valve does not close fully after a set time, or does not open within a set time, an alarm relay operates to keep the installation safe.
