Condensate Contamination Control System
The CCS 990 condensate contamination control system consists of the BC 900 blowdown controller, the CP 910 conductivity probe and the control valves.
Condensate returning to the boiler house from the steam and condensate system is sent to the condensate tank to be used again as boiler feedwater.
The contamination detection system monitors and displays the conductivity of the condensate. If the conductivity of the returning condensate rises above a preset value, the system automatically diverts it to drain instead of letting it back into the boiler system or the condensate tank.
While the conductivity stays below the set value, the condensate is allowed back into the tank.
