Pressure Relief Valves
Pilot operated pressure relief valve, 300 psi class, ductile iron body with stainless trim, DN1...
The dry pipe sprinkler system is designed for places where the pipes and sprinklers may be exposed to freezing temperatures — unheated warehouses, garages, car parks, roof spaces and shops. The sprinkler pipework holds air or nitrogen instead of water. Thanks to its special clapper, the differential dry alarm valve holds high pressure water back with low pressure air. When a sprinkler opens in a fire, the differential ratio in the system is lost and the clapper opens. The pressure switch passes the alarm to the fire alarm or building automation system, and water then reaches the water motor gong to sound a mechanical alarm.
Designed specifically for all dry pipe systems. External reset, suitable for vertical installation only, supplied semi-assembled.
