High Performance Butterfly Valves

High performance butterfly valves are used where a standard lined butterfly valve is no longer sufficient: higher pressure, higher temperature and tighter shut-off. The offset disc geometry lifts the seal off the seat as soon as the valve starts to open, which reduces both the operating torque and the wear on the seat.

The stainless steel body and disc suit steam, hot water, thermal oil and chemically aggressive fluids. Wafer and lug bodies are both available; the lug body allows the downstream side of the line to be dismantled with the valve in place. They can be lever, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuator operated.
