PY101 series valves are among the most effective isolating devices for water, air, oil and non-flammable gases. Their construction allows them to be used normally open, normally closed, or for both duties in the same plant. Robust materials and carefully selected seals guarantee that opening and closing takes place in a very short time, even under critical conditions. The valve works normally at temperatures up to 180 °C, and is produced in every size and with a wide range of connections to cover special requirements.
From DN15 to DN65 the body is made of GG-25 and the seat of AISI 420. The piston sleeve is made of nylon 66 filled with glass fibre and EPTM; the thermal conductivity of this material is lower than that of steel, which keeps the actuator cooler on hot lines and extends seal life.
