Pneumatic Actuators

Pneumatic actuators open and close quarter-turn valves — butterfly and ball valves — with control air. They are compact, fast and reliable, and are the usual choice where a valve has to be operated frequently or remotely.

Double acting units use air to drive the valve in both directions; spring return (single acting) units are driven open or closed by air and return to their safe position by spring force when the air supply fails.

LEKTON pneumatic actuators are powerful, reliable and compact. They are designed to open and close quarter-turn valves such as butterfly and ball valves quickly, slowly or proportionally.

They are produced in a range of sizes as single acting or double acting units. Besides the standard programme, ±10% piston adjustment, 180° rotation and three-position (open, half open, closed) versions can be supplied to order.
