PVC Pipes

U-PVC pipe is used on cold water, waste water and chemical lines. It does not corrode, it is light enough to handle without lifting equipment, and solvent welded or gasketed joints make it quick to install.

Because the inner surface stays smooth, friction loss remains low over the life of the line. Working temperature is limited compared with metal pipe, so PVC is specified for cold and ambient temperature service.
