Solenoid Valves
A solenoid valve opens and closes with an electrical signal, which makes it the standard element wherever a line has to be switched automatically: dosing, filling, compressed air, cooling water and safety shut-off duties.
Normally closed (N/C) valves open when the coil is energised and close when power is lost; normally open (N/O) valves work the other way round. This choice sets what the plant does in a power failure, so it should be made together with the safety requirement of the line.
The tables below list the general purpose 2/2 and 3/2 ranges and the high pressure series with their models and pressure ranges.
