The 2-piece threaded stainless ball valve is the most widely chosen product in the ball valve group. Being threaded, it is easy to install and maintain and its price is more reasonable. As the name suggests, it is made of one main body and a second piece carrying one end connection.
The second piece seats on the first, holds the packing in place and carries the second end connection. Once installed, these valves generally cannot be repaired unless they are taken out of service.

The nominal diameter of the 2-piece threaded stainless ball valve runs from DN15 (1/2") to DN100 (4").
Pressure ratings are 25 bar for DN15–DN25 and 20 bar for DN32–DN50.
The working temperature range depends on the material but reaches from -10 °C to +180 °C.
