U-PVC Ball Valves
U-PVC ball valves carry out the open/close duty on plastic pipework. The two-piece union body lets the valve be removed for service without cutting the line, and the PTFE seats with EPDM or Viton O-rings give tight shut-off in both directions.
They resist corrosion and most chemicals, which makes them the standard choice for drinking water networks, pool and irrigation lines, dosing systems and water treatment plants. The full bore keeps the pressure loss to a minimum. They should be operated fully open or fully closed; for throttling duty use a control valve.
