The HVK34 / HVK35 is a vacuum breaker designed with a brass body. It can be used on steam or liquid systems in applications up to 14 bar.
The stainless steel bodied version can be used on steam or liquid systems up to 21 bar. Safe use of a vacuum breaker depends on correct installation and maintenance by a qualified person, in line with the operating instructions. Installation on the line, the safety instructions and the correct use of safety equipment and tools must all be observed.
General safety information
Be aware that the pipe line to which the vacuum breaker is connected may be under pressure before maintenance is carried out. If the system is pressurised, make sure the pressure has been released safely.
