Pressure Relief Valves
Pilot operated pressure relief valve, 300 psi class, ductile iron body with stainless trim, DN1...
The wet alarm valve is designed for applications where there is no possibility of the water freezing. Water waiting under pressure in the pipes discharges into the fire zone when a sprinkler operates. While the pressurised system is fed continuously, it also fills the retard chamber. Once the chamber is full, the pressure switch on it is triggered and passes the alarm to the fire alarm or building automation system. After the pressure switch operates, water reaches the water motor gong and a mechanical alarm sounds.
Produced specifically for all wet pipe systems. The sensitive retard chamber prevents false alarms under varying pressures. The trim set suits vertical installation and the valve is supplied semi-assembled.
