In saturated steam, pressure and temperature are tied together: knowing the line pressure means knowing the steam temperature as well.
In saturated steam, pressure and temperature are tied together: if you know the pressure in the line you also know the temperature, enthalpy and specific volume of the steam. The table below gives the pressure–temperature pairs for saturated steam and the thermal values that follow from them. These figures are the starting point when you set boiler outlet pressure, select a steam trap or size a heat exchanger.
