The glass wool roof blanket, produced in three grades (300, 350 and 400), is used over the deck in unoccupied roof voids, between rafters in occupied roof spaces, in horizontal applications that carry no load, and on metal and sandwich roofs.

Application Notes
- No load should be placed on the material after installation and it should not be walked on.
- On trapezoidal metal roofs, a layer of polythene is first laid as a vapour barrier, with joints lapped 10 cm and bonded.
- The industrial building board is laid over the vapour barrier. The installation is completed with the metal cladding.
