Rock Wool

Rock wool is produced by melting locally sourced inorganic raw materials at 1350–1400 °C and spinning them into fibre. Depending on where and why it is used, it can be produced as blanket, board, pipe section or loose fill, in different sizes and technical specifications and with a range of facings. Alongside thermal insulation, sound insulation and acoustic treatment, it also contributes to fire safety.
