Grooved Couplings

The advantages of grooved systems include speed and ease of installation, no need for welding, the ability to dismantle the joint again, easy maintenance, time saving and low labour cost. Used with grooved pipe, the couplings seal completely together with their rubber gasket.

Under seismic movement, grooved connections are safer than welded systems because they allow flexing, extension, contraction and deflection. Grooved pipe lines with their couplings also damp vibration. In constant use in developed countries, grooved connections are now being applied and chosen rapidly in Türkiye as well.
