Metal bellows vibration absorbers are fitted at the inlet and outlet of equipment that creates vibration — pumps, booster sets, compressors — to take up the vibration and noise produced and keep it out of the pipe system.
The bellows, made from special stainless steel, is designed to absorb that vibration. Bellows are produced in two plies and put through special tests. On low temperature water systems a rubber expansion joint is used; for high temperature, varied fluids and high pressure the metal vibration absorber is applied, always with tie rods.
Construction: designed and produced to EJMA standards. Pressure and temperature values comply with DIN 2401.
Connection: rotating flange, weld neck
Materials: bellows and liners in stainless steel, connecting parts in stainless or carbon steel; other materials to order.
Nominal diameter: DN25 (1") – DN1200 (48")
Pressure: produced as standard in PN16; higher classes to special design. Working pressure depends on the nominal diameter and the working temperature.
